Wednesday, 21 March 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Join author Eleanor Limprecht as she discusses her newest Historical Fiction. The Passengers is a luminous novel that weaves between the past and present and creates vibrant characters from the extraordinary true experiences of Australian war brides.

Sarah and her grandmother, Hannah, are on a cruise from San Diego to Sydney. Hannah is returning to the country of her birth, a place she hasn’t seen since 1945 after she boarded the USS Mariposa to follow her love to the United States. A touching novel from a granddaughter’s perspective as she realises the immensity of what her grandmother gave up.
