Wednesday, 28 August 2019 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join photographer and author Jan Latta as she shares her incredible experiences and photos of encounters with wild animals.

Twenty-five years ago, Jan came face to face with a mountain gorilla in Rwanda; this encounter set her on a path to educate children about endangered animals through her photography and by giving the animals a ‘voice’.

Jan has travelled to the jungles of Borneo to meet orangutans, tigers in India, the elusive leopards in Sri Lanka, Dame Jane Goodall’s chimps in Uganda, pandas in the mountains of China, sloths in Costa Rica and more.

Jan has 16 published books including her most recent work, Adventures in the Wild.

Books will be available for purchase on the night.
