Tiny Doors is a grant funded community art project for young people on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. It is an initiative of the Northern Beaches Council Library Service and, as such, every door created will be related to a door or portal from literature.

The Tiny Doors project will see 25 ‘tiny doors' publicly installed at key sites across the peninsula.

All doors are expected to be in place by December 2018 and will be maintained by The Northern Beaches Council for 1 year.

The Project

The project will give young people opportunity to develop specialised skill sets and build a portfolio under the mentorship of experienced industry professionals.

Young people will learn team building, art-making, project management, time management, digital design, and leadership skills through participation in the Tiny Doors project as well as gain experience working with design briefs, budgets, deadlines and approval processes.
