From babies to primary school aged children, the library puts on regular programs and activities for all ages. Library kids get to enjoy stories, songs, crafts and workshops that widen their horizons, as well as much anticipated annual competitions such as the Young Writers Competition and the Premiers Reading Challenge.
Babies and Toddlers (0-3 years)
Enjoy sharing songs and rhymes with your baby or toddler in an interactive and stimulating environment. Baby Bounce & Rhyme is designed especially for the 3 to 18 month age group, and Rhyme Time is designed especially for little ones from birth to 2 years of age. All sessions encourage parent participation and engagement.
Pre-Schoolers (3-5 years)
Enjoy stories, songs, games and craft at Story Time, a program designed especially for 3-5 year olds.
Pre-schoolers will also love the Lego Club and the Teddy Bears Sleepover.
Primary School Aged (5+ years)
Primary school aged children can choose from craft sessions at the Wednesday Club, After School Story Time, Lego and Code clubs to chess, reading and creative writing competitions and workshops.
