Northern Beaches Council has two school environmental education centres. The Coastal Environment Centre and the Manly Environment Centre are dedicated to preserving and conserving our environment. The Coastal Environment Centre is a key driver in educating students about the local environment and sustainability. With 15, 000 students attending programs each year, it plays a very important role in inspiring the next generation to make a difference.Through education, vacation and practical school programs both centres are inspiration for environmental protection. Sustainable Business Network
Education goes a long way to supporting Sustainable Business.The Sustainable Business Network provides a forum for local businesses to share their experiences on how to incorporate sustainable practices into their day-to-day operations.
