These unique underwater creatures are not only highly intelligent, but they’re also masters of camouflage. They possess the remarkable and mysterious ability to completely change the colour of their body, as well as its shape and texture.

During breeding season, the male cuttlefish put on striking displays of their colour patterns and shapeshifting abilities, which helps them attract a mate.
