Currently Council Family Day Care has vacancies available across the Northern Beaches for families seeking services for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

Family day care gives young children the chance to learn and grow in small groups in the comfort of a home environment with one dedicated early childhood educator.

This gives families a familiar face at drop-off each day and allows children to build strong and trusting relationships with their educator.

Family day care educators create personalised learning programs shaped by each child’s routines and interests in a calm setting. Many speak languages other than English, helping children stay connected to their home language and culture.

Research suggests that children often thrive when educators can offer such individual attention.

Council’s Family Day Care is the only Northern Beaches family day care service (and one of only 21 across Australia) to hold an ‘Exceeding National Quality Standard’ rating under the National Quality Framework. Currently there are vacancies at our Family Day Care across the Northern Beaches.

Our Family Day Care educators are committed to upholding child-safe practices and creating environments where children feel safe, respected and heard. Educators actively support children’s rights, wellbeing and participation in line with Child Safe Standards.
