The indoor area at Warringah Aquatic Centre is getting some much‑needed maintenance to refresh the facility and improve comfort for swimmers.

Upgrades include ceiling repairs, new mirrors, and repainting in the male and female indoor changerooms, as well as a fresh coat of paint on the indoor stairwells.

The indoor pool will be closed while the work takes place, from Monday 13 to Friday 17 April, and indoor programs will take a break. The outdoor pool will remain open with extended hours from 5.30am to 9pm so swimmers can continue their routines.

Improvements to the changerooms are made possible by the Special Variation to rates, which also supported the replacement of the dive blocks, lane ropes and the air handling system that improves the air quality of the indoor areas.

School holiday activities will continue as planned from 7 to 10 April, with families able to enjoy the pool inflatable and diving boards, the new Stroke Correction Clinic and the Intensive Learn to Swim program.
