The Northern Beaches is even more beautiful on the inside than it is on the outside, if the spirit of our local volunteers is anything to go by.

In celebration of International Volunteers Day on Tuesday 5 December, we publicly thank our local volunteers who do so much for the community.

Council works with an amazing team of volunteers across a number of areas including bushcare and environment projects, Meals on Wheels, special events, art exhibitions, libraries and more.

There are also many other wonderful community volunteer groups that contribute so much to our community and there are always opportunities for more people to get involved.

“We are very fortunate to have a wonderful mixed demographic of locals who contribute their time and efforts to make our community an even better place,” Mayor Michael Regan said.
