Big news for the Northern Beaches: Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) has officially wrapped up its improvement works.

Thanks to Northern Beaches Council working hand in hand with the NSW Government and the club’s dedicated volunteers, this coastal icon has had a much-needed spruce up.

With a new roof covering external areas, the club is now prepped for any kind of weather - so whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a drizzly morning, the activities and lifesaving action keep rolling. The upgraded electrical systems, modern flooring, fresh skylights and other improvements have transformed the space into a more contemporary, durable and user friendly facility for members and the community alike.

It’s all about making sure that committed lifesaving volunteers have what they need and creating a space for every member of the community.

Construction was planned with the community front of mind, so lifesaving services kept running and the public could still enjoy the area, even while tradies were on site. The result being a safer, more welcoming and more accessible club that’s ready to serve and bring together the Warriewood community for years to come.

Hats off to every one of you who pitched in to bring the project to life! Here’s to many more seasons of fun, safety, and community spirit at the revamped Warriewood SLSC.
