Some of Sydney’s most talented musical teens battled in out in our Council Chambers in Dee Why on Saturday night for the final of Northern Composure Unplugged.
It was Jordyn Richards who was announced as the winner, after wowing the judges with captivating performance of her own track I Know as well as Regina Spektor’s classic Indie pop hit Samson.
She received $600 in merchandise, $500 cash, a marketing package and guaranteed air time on Radio Northern Beaches.
Second place went to the group Joker in the Pack, who took home $250 cash, $300 product and a busking license.
In third, Sean Mulligan received $125 cash and a busking license.
Jordyn's winning advice to other singers and bands out there is to take every opportunity you can to perform – you never know who might be in the crowd.
A live recording of Northern Composure Unplugged plus interviews with the finalists will be aired on Radio Northern Beaches (88.7FM and 90.3FM) this Saturday 14 December from 8pm.
