Cashel Reserve playground in Killarney Heights has been spruced up and is ready for play.

Consultation revealed the community felt that a small playground should be maintained in the reserve rather than develop the space for a different recreational use.

The playground is ready for plenty of giggles, with a bigger swing set over soft mulch - two classic swings plus a high-backed toddler swing for little ones and a bouncy new grasshopper rocker to hop on too.

The works have been funded by Council’s Playground Renewal Program.

For the big kids and those wanting something a little more adventurous, the nearby Poppy Park Playground is larger and has a more diverse range of equipment.
