Northern Beaches Council announces the return of Rise Manly in 2026.

Following the success of last year’s event, the 10-day celebration of winter is being held from 19-28 June.

Delivered in partnership with the Manly Business Chamber, Rise Manly showcases the vibrant spirit of local businesses, and Manly community with an exciting line-up of activities and experiences.

The Corso, laneways and beachfront will be buzzing with live music, winter-themed menus, light projections and more.

Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said she was thrilled to see Rise Manly return.

“The program was such a success last year and there are plans to build on this popularity with more surprises including a Ferris wheel.

“Rise Manly is a fantastic showcase of what our community can achieve when we come together. 

“The event not only provides a boost for local businesses but also offers residents and visitors a unique opportunity to engage with everything that makes Manly special.

“Manly’s shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, fitness and wellness businesses are teaming up to bring a fun filled and delicious array of special events and unforgettable experiences.

“We encourage the community to support local and celebrate the best things to do, taste and explore in Manly” Mayor Heins said.

Rise Manly highlights include:

  • Manly Town Hall Light Projection: A colourful makeover of enlivening projections on the heritage-listed building
  • The Corso interactive light experience - the surface of The Corso will be transformed into a playful canvas of light
  • The Espy: don your ski suits, woolly hats and mittens for the Apres Ski parties
  • Ice Cold Classic: Celebrate the winter solstice and support those in need with a 1km swim from Manly to Shelly Beach 
  • Henry G's: Experience a European-inspired winter warmer menu with a fondue and wine experience
  • Surf Dive ‘n Ski Manly: grab the popcorn and a woolly blanket for winter movie night
  • Hotel Steyne Garden: Relax and unwind on The Corso with a variety of activities and live music
