Roll out the red carpet – Glen Street Theatre has unveiled its blockbuster 2026 program, promising a year jam-packed with dazzling performances you won’t want to miss! 

Whether you’re a theatre buff, music lover, or just after a lively night out with the family, this season’s unmissable mix of classic plays, electrifying concerts, and uplifting family entertainment guarantees something for everyone on the Northern Beaches.

Tickets for all 2026 shows are on sale from 1 December for members, with everyone else able to snap up seats from 15 December 2025.

2026 program highlights include:

•    Drama – A bold new adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest by Come You Spirits Theatre Company, brings this classic play directly into dialogue with contemporary society, followed later in the year by unmissable political satire The Gospel According to Paul – The Second Coming, written and directed by Glen Street favourite Jonathan Biggins

•    Comedy – The hugely popular Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow returns in June. This event always sells out and has become a feature of the annual season.

•    Music – Experience an unforgettable season of live music, from the soaring vocals of Mark Vincent with The Australian Symphony Orchestra, to the powerful presence of The Australian Army Band in Concert the Glen Street Theatre stage will come alive with exceptional talent. Plus, enjoy world-class tribute performances celebrating the iconic sounds of Queen, The Everly Brothers, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Simon & Garfunkel and The Beatles.

•    Special Events - Step into the electrifying world of rock and roll through the lens of legendary Australian photographer Tony Mott as he shares the stories behind his images of the world’s most famous musicians, live on stage. 

•    Percussion/Dance – Don’t miss Water Mirror, a breathtaking fusion of Taiko percussion, dance, acrobatics, and cutting-edge projection and lighting design.

•    Kids and Family – From school’s performances of beloved classics SPOT and Where is the Green Sheep? to School Holiday treats - the hilarious Mr Snotbottom and The Ultimate Magic Show with Illusionist Jonas Jost.
