We've pulled together some easy walks the whole family can do. Get fit and spend time together. 

Anembo Reserve 

Anembo is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘quiet place,’ and peace and tranquillity is what you will find. Surrounded by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on three sides, this ridgetop reserve includes 22 hectares of native vegetation providing habitat for several threatened species. Enjoy the trail on foot or horseback, and be mindful of giving way to horses.

Allenby Park

Tucked between Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights and Brookvale, the area covers 42 hectares. Discover one of our best-kept secrets, you'll forget you're in Sydney as you slip into this tranquil stunning pocket of natural bush. Picturesque waterfalls, mossy boulders and panoramic views of the coast await!

Dee Why Headland

Dee Why Headland is a sensitive coastal ecosystem, providing an important wildlife corridor between Curl Curl and Dee Why Lagoons. The rugged sandstone headland boasts spectacular views south to Manly and north to Long Reef and beyond.

Start either Dee Why Beach or North Curl Curl Beach.

Warriewood Wetlands 

This boardwalk provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the natural attributes of the largest remaining wetland in Sydney. Ducks, birds, frogs, turtles the wetland is busting with animals and the boardwalk is the perfect place for bird watchers to enjoy their passion.

Freshwater Surfing History and Heritage Walk

 

Freshwater has a rich beach culture stretching for more than 100 years. Come and learn about the area's surfing history and other interesting historical facts.

Distance: 3.5km
Time: 1.5 - 2 hour loop
