The captivating history of the Northern Beaches continues to be shared with the community, with thousands of photos, recordings, maps and factsheets available through our History Hub.
Since its creation in 2019, the History Hub has recorded 3.4 million page views, and more than 80,000 visitors.
History Hub features more than 28,000 items including 20,000 historical photographs, 200 oral history recordings, 5000 factsheets, and over 700 maps showcasing the rich history of the Northern Beaches.
Take a look at the fascinating collection of photographs, capturing the key moments, places and people of the Northern Beaches over the decades and centuries.
You can also explore oral histories and listen to the interesting tales of local residents.
Thanks to the hard work of our Local Studies team, the history of our community is forever captured for you and future generations to enjoy.

Our physical history collections are also available for all members of the community to access at Manly, Dee Why and Mona Vale Libraries from Monday to Friday.
