Local artists looking to accelerate their careers and expand their creative networks should RSVP for the upcoming Artist Residencies panel session event on Saturday 9 September.
This free event, which forms part of Manly Arts Festival, will bring successful and innovative creatives together to advise local artists how to apply for – and win – artist residencies.
Event panel members include Pat Grant, graphic novelist and co-founder of the Comic Art Workshop residency program; Mimi Kelly, a photomedia artist who has completed Australian and overseas residencies; and home-grown talents Imogen Cranna and Leesa Knights.
Submissions for local artist residency programs including those offered by Eramboo / Northern Beaches Council; and Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre will open later this year – so it’s not too early to get prepared.
Bookings are essential by Thursday 31 August and can be made via email@example.com. Those who attend the event are welcome to stay afterwards for an Eramboo exhibition opening.
