New Playground on the way for Mona Vale

Tuesday, 16 May 2017

Work will start next week on a new playground at Mona Vale Village Park, which will include an exciting range of play equipment catering for children of all abilities.

The new playground will feature a rope tunnel, suspension bridge and musical chimes designed to encourage outdoors play and develop coordination.

Council General Manager Environment & Infrastructure Ben Taylor said the playground has been designed in consultation with Mona Vale Public School and will be ready to re-open at the end of June, weather permitting.

Nearby playgrounds are available at Apex Park and Winnererremy Bay Parkland while the works are undertaken.
