A feast of activities for Northern Beaches' seniors will make March a fun and exciting month.
Northern Beaches Council - together over 50 community groups and organisations – has organised the biggest and most comprehensive Seniors Festival ever offered on the Northern Beaches, with more than 150 events.
The theme for the festival is 'Inclusive Communities' and it runs from 3-24 March.
Whether it is in travel, dancing or cooking, improving physical fitness, engaging with modern technology or learning new skills, there is an exciting range of events being held at locations right across the Northern Beaches supporting and promoting the needs and interests within the community.
Northern Beaches Council is grateful to the large number of committed organisations and people who have helped create an inclusive community thanks all those groups and businesses who have contributed to this year’s programs.
Northern Beaches Council itself is directly presenting a wide selection of activities ranging from workshops on travelling to a community luncheon, from coastal walks and aquatic exercise sessions to fixing kids' toys.
Other highlights include various styles of dancing, cooking up a storm at the Men’s Kitchen, lectures and presentations and even kayaking for the really adventurous.
